Logging into EAland, it is always interesting to see where the individual people that I have bookmarked are. But it is also sad to see that a lot of us, myself included are not hanging out anymore in our legacy cities as much as before the merge.
I find that Legacy cities are struggling more now then before the merge to keep a little life going and attracting new players and keeping the old time players coming back.
Opening your lot at any given night, may attract a few stranglers here and there, but it is nothing like it used too be. Unless you are on the top 100 list and players search that list and find you lit up.
So with that in mind, I am going to try to stay on my lot more and hopefully with any chance some other Lot’s will follow suit. Maybe we can regain some of that ” home town flavor” back before it is really to late and we are getting completely swallowed up by EACity.

We , meaning Paul and me want to wish everyone in TSO a Happy Turkey Day tomorrow. With everyone getting into the hussle and bussle of the upcoming Holidays, we all should take a moment tomorrow and say thanks to our higher power (whichever it may be) for all of the blessings we had this year so far.
I know I am thankful for having 2 awesome kids that I can be very proud of and have been and will be the light of my life. Who have the same sense of humor then me and who still love me even if I don’t do as they want me to do. A job ( that I may not like on some days) that helps me to provide for them, a home (which I am hoping to call my own soon), my good health, for wonderful friends in my real life and in my sim life. I am thankful that this year I had the wonderful chance of meeting Paul, who has given me back the ability to realize that there are nice guys out there. Who is caring, giving and always brings a big smile on my face no matter how my day may go. Who makes my heart skip a beat and gets me to blush with his compliments. And no matter what, is always there for me. Thank you Paul
There are so many other things that I am grateful this year that I probably take for granted every day, that other people may not have the opportunity to enjoy. And also let’s not forget the countless Men and Woman that are serving in our Military right now and the ones that have lost their lives, so that we could have a wonderful Turkey day.
Happy” gobble gobble gobble” everyone.

OK, with Halloween fast approaching and anyone with little ones having already ” Costume Issues” and the Halloween Candy being promoted since forever..lol, I thought we could talk about the scariest thing ever that happened to you on Halloween.
Being born and raised in Germany, we did not have Halloween. We have ” Fasching” which starts on Nov. 11th and ends on Ash Wednesday and is like Mardi Gras or the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. So I actually did not get introduced to Halloween till I met my ex-husband.
Needless to say, I remember watching Poltergeist and Nightmare on Elm Street for the first time with friends and it scared the daylights out of me. Especially the second Poltergeist with the old Preacher , he just gave me the greeps. I mean Freddie looked good at that point..lol. But to make it worse, our friends thought it was so funny, they actually found a person that looked like that and introduced me one night to that person. I will never forget that moment, he had his back turned to me and as I said hi he turned around and I jumped about 5 feet in the air, and let out this horrible scream. Our friends thought it was hilarious and had the time of their lives with it, but I had the heebee jeebees all night.
The guy actually felt bad and apologized, but I still could not get over it. To this day I am not able to watch that Poltergeist movie because of it.
So let’s hear some of your stories or moments. Let’s get spooky… ![]()
